Making Ekta Kapoor take a break from the promotional whirlwind of the keenly awaited Ragini MMS, it’s her papa and the veteran star, Jeetendra, who will visit Hyderabad on Tuesday to promote the Hindi and Telugu versions of the entertaining sex-horror fest. For the uninitiated, Ragini MMS, a bi-lingual, has been produced in two languages – Hindi and Telugu. Both the versions will release in the Andhra market on the same day (Friday, the 13th of May.)

It is common knowledge that Jeetendra was the only Mumbai-based actor of his time to become the darling of South-Indian filmmakers who refused to sign any other actor. Frequently paired with Sridevi and Jaya Prada, his filmography largely comprises South productions, including Justice Chowdhary, Mawali, Himmatwala and Tohfa, to name a few.

Jeetendra, who has fond memories of his extensive Padmalaya days in Hyderabad, will visit the city on Tuesday to interact with the press. He will be accompanied by the film’s stars, Kainaz and Rajkumar (last seen in the controversial Love Sex Aur Dhokha.)

“Visiting Hyderabad makes me nostalgic,” remarked the veteran actor. “I’ve spent some of the best days of my life and career in this wonderful city and state. I was delighted when Ekta chose to make a second version of Ragini MMS in Telugu.”
