Dil Dostii Dance, the leading dance-based soap on Channel [v] will oversee a transformation soon, as the on-screen character ‘Kria’ aka Shakti Mohan’s journey comes to an end. Shakti Mohan, the lead actor from the show, is moving out to pursue a special dance training course in New York.

Speaking on this transition, Shakti Mohan says “I love dancing and there is just so much more for me to learn in dance. I had always wanted to pursue a dance course in New York and hence I will be fulfilling this dream soon. D3 (Dil Dostii Dance) is very special to me and will always remain an important part of my learning in my career.”

Additionally Prem Kamath, Executive VP and GM said, “Shakti has been an integral part of the show and we wish her all the success in her new endeavour. Dil Dostii Dance is one of the leading shows on Channel [v] and we hope to sustain the momentum going forward. While it will be a challenge to fill this void, D3 has immense popularity and the story will evolve beyond the current point without replacing Kria.”

The character will come to an end, on air, sometime mid February.
