ETC Punjabi is all set to welcome New Year on a melodious note. As always, setting new benchmarks of entertainment the channel gives a platform to established as well as budding singers to perform on New Years Eve. An evening full of Sufi, folk and heart smearing music- the channel will embrace the New Year charm in a distinct style and flavour.

The evening of 31st December 2011 will be a soothing and soulful one full of musical melodies including Ghazals, Folk and Sufi numbers. The studio based event will have performances by singers such as Sunny Salim, Masoom and Sada Thakur, Dimple Raja, Paramjot, Mani Sagar and Jyotica. Knit together by seasoned Punjabi anchor-Harjot, this will give a distinct edge over the regular programmes televised across TV spectrum.

The two hours programme Mehfil 2012 will be telecast at 7.30 pm on 31st December with a repeat on January 1st at 12 noon on ETC Punjabi.
