Festive fervor is on and celebrations are in full swing on the sets of SAB TV's Gutur Gu.The shoot was scheduled in the evening and all arrangements for the Christmas special episode were made. But, the girl gang Bhavna Balsavar and Sheetal Maulik had planned a surprise for the cast and crew. They decided to celebrate Christmas  on the sets itself. They convinced Jaydutt, Kunal and KK Goswami to join in the celebrations. So while the shoot was going on a cast member dressed as Santa Claus kick started  the celebrations by singing Christmas carols. Bhavna ,Sheetal joined in the celebrations and got everyone to sing Christmas carols ,have a party and  decided to cut a cake. But, twist to the tale was that they had only 1 cake ordered which was required for the Christmas special sequence. In their excitement they cut the cake.

After their celebrations ended they realized that  they have eaten the cake which was required for the shot. They all panicked and thought the shoot will get disrupted but at the end minute the director came to their rescue. He had realized the excitement and spirit of Christmas and saw the gang celebrate and decided to continue shooting the sequence without the artists knowledge. Finally when he said cut the artists realized that the entire celebrations sequence was shot and the director was too happy with the natural scene.

Bhavna Balsavar said that, “I celebrate Christmas more than I celebrate Diwali.I decorate my house, bake a cake and decorate my own Christmas tree. So when I got a chance to celebrate Christmas on the sets with my extended family, had great fun and enjoyed the celebrations thoroughly.”

Sheetal Maulik too cheerfully added that, “ I got a chance to celebrate Christmas  twice once on sets and once with my family. I loved the cake and singing Christmas carols with my friends.”
