SaharaOne’s show Hi Padosi Kaun Hai Doshi changes its title for the second time. The show, originally titled as Hi Padosi Kaun Hai Doshi, launched in January this year, was changed to just Hi Padosi sometime ago. Now, it’s further rechristened as Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage with immediate effect.

With the change in title, the show also shifts genres from a sitcom to family saas bahu drama. Sanjeeda Shiekh, the lead of the show is glad with the move. "There were rumors of the show going off air, but we have proved our detractors wrong. The title has been changed keeping in mind the shift in the genre from comedy to a serious saas bahu drama, which has benefited the show and the new title suits the concept of the show" The producers and the channel were exploring various possibilities on an appropriate time to shift genres and a change in title for sometime now.

The opportunity came about when the two main characters played by Sejal (Sanjeeda Sheikh) and Bitto (Giriraj Kabra) were to get married on the show.
