The hot Ammaji of Zee Tv's Ram Milaayi Jodi is sure to win hearts of millions of viewers in the sexy avatar that she portrayed at the recently held Zee Rishtey Awards ceremony. Krutika Desai, the strict saas of Mona (Sara Khan) in Ram Milaayi Jodi actually did something really unthinkable at the ZRA event. The sultry actress was assigned to pay tribute to the original item girl, the evergreen Helen ji, at the award function. Though she was totally overwhelmed to get such an honour, her costume irked her. She thought it was too conservative and would not make her feel like an item girl.

To get the act and look right, Krutika actually slit her dress dangerously high on both sides to show off her sexy legs. And to everybody’s wonder, she even refused to wear slacks underneath. Says a source from the production house, “Krutika knew very well that the channel would not entertain her demands of getting a new costume altogether. So she quickly did something which astounded all of us. On the day of the event, she called the (tailor) master ji and slit her long flowing gown on both sides to show off her well maintained shapely legs.”

When asked about this bizzare behavior, Krutika unapologetically said, “If I have been asked to play a role, I’ll ensure that I play it to the hilt. I was expected to dance like Helen ji. And, you can’t expect me to dress up like a gunny bag and pay tribute to a person of her stature.” Point Taken Krutika.
