Actress shops worth a Lakh of rupees during the international shoot schedule of Hitler Didi Shopping is to women what sports is to men and Zee TV’s resident Hitler Didi Rati Pandey proved the veracity of these wisely spoken words while she was in Macau to shoot for the show. While in Macau, Rati decided to take off on a spontaneous shopping trip around the Venetian Macau, which incidentally also happens to be the venue of the upcoming Zee Cine Awards. Rati spent four hours leisurely browsing through the shops on the boulevard picking up whatever caught her fancy dresses, shoes, accessories, knick-knacks, gifts for friends and family etc. We are sure that the vendors on the shopping strip in Macau must have been thrilled by the whopping bills worth a Lakh of rupees that she raked up in the process.
In the meanwhile, an uninformed unit which set out on a frantic hunt for their lead actress, found a contented Rati, leisurely sipping on a cup of coffee with multiple shopping bags at her feet. Apparently the crew hadn’t received the message that Rati had dropped informing them that she was going shopping. An deeply apologetic Rati then went on to shoot for a few extra hours in order to compensate the team for the lost hours and even ensured that she delivered her lines in a single take.
“I didn’t know that there would be such a confusion created out if I stepped out for a few hours in the morning especially after having informed the production guys” Said Rati when contacted.
After a few days of long shoots, a girl just need to unwind at times and when there are umpteen shops around you filled with beautiful goodies, how is a girl to resist.
